New York Comic Con was quite busy, but it was good to see all my friends again and to meet (lots of) new people. :) Anyway, a new commission.

Yes, hot indeed. My friend that I had you draw it for was very happy, saying she drooled over it for a couple hours when she first opened the package.

Ali is flexible, communicates well, has great customer service, and (obviously) produces beautiful work. **Satisfied customer***

This picture completed my Juri wall. Yes I do have a Juri wall. This picture hangs next to aleriadeufania's Juri which is next to my big Juri and Annarielle picture. Hehehe I love the Juri wall... Thanks again.. I'll stop now. -_-

right now.. no My digital camera is broke... I gotta get a new one. But I will soon. ^_^ I'll take a picture of it and show you sometime. Everywhere I've lived I've had a Juri wall (well ever since I discovered her) I have a picture of my Juri and Annarielle that I drew though. It's on my deviant art page. Hehehe. It's funny... if it wasn't for Utena, I never would have met Aleria Deufania. ^_^

I've always loved your art. I have a few of your pictures (that I printed out and stuck to the wall). I remember watching the Evanescence Anywhere but home Dvd and seeing Amy and Terry with the picture. I loved that art. It was cool to later on find out that you were the one that made that gorgeous picture. I wonder what Amy Lee did with that picture...

pretty. have you tried charcoal or charcoal pencils? theyre better for making values and have a more striking appearance.

Yeah, this still life was the first time I experimented with charcoal. I was 16. (I guess it shows.)

I don't really like charcoal because I can't control it as easily as other mediums. And in the case of this piece, I wanted a more delicate hand as well. When I do figure drawing these days, I use either pencil or a ballpoint pen because I prefer fine lines.

neat picture. i like charcoal cuz it is smudgier and better at depicting value. different strokes.

I think I developed a phobia of smudging. When I was 13, I drew a portrait of my cousin in pencil. I was really, really proud of it. Then my other cousin saw it and went "No, you have to smudge it like this..." and then rubbed their hands all over it. From then on, I was totally anti-smudging.
